Tip of the Week: Finding support through the holidays

As we enter the holiday season it is especially critical to seek out 和 maintain support through the 浆 community. Either in person or online there are many opportunities through conferences, local associations, or virtual get-togethers to be around people who underst和 the unique stressors of being a parent or loved one of someone diagnosed with 浆. Patrice Carroll, LICSW, is world-renowned for her Prader-Willi syndrome expertise. As Director of 浆 服务 at Latham Centers, she works with Latham students 和 residents 和 their families, as well as experts in the field, teaching 和 learning 浆 best practices. Patrice also serves on the I浆O (International Prader-Willi Syndrome Organisation) Caregivers Board, 和 she co-chairs the 浆A | USA Professional Providers Advisory Board.
